ADPR are one of the South West's leading Public Relations companies and they work hard for both their clients and in the local business community. They are one and all passionate about what they do and their old website simply wasn't cutting the mustard when it came to representing the ADPR team or in providing information to journalists and other interested parties in the most efficient and easy to find way.
After determining the exact needs and look they wanted for their site during both the proposal and site specification stages, we set about translating that into a new, exciting looking site that did the company justice. This included a bespoke Press Room function that enables press releases, with associated image galleries and other downloadable media, to be categorised into interest areas, making search a breeze. We added to this a dynamic related news feature, that lists similar news articles & press release to that being viewed based on automatic analysis of the content, saving huge amounts of administrative time. Press releases may also be tweeted from within the CMS once created using the Twitter API and our own mrph.me URL shortening service.
Prior to launch, we dynamically imported the press releases from the old Drupal driven site and used 301 redirects to ensure existing site search ranking was not lost during the launch of the new site. The site has performed well in search engine results and has been received well by both users and visitors.
We spoke with several companies before selecting morphsites. Not only did we feel that we would enjoy working with Pete Fairburn and his team, but we felt morphsites offered us the best technological solution.
Morphsites worked well with us, delivering an excellent website on budget and on time; and most critically, with relative ease, as the system for designing, writing and implementing the site was handled seamlessly between ADPR and morphsites.
