Plasloc is a nationwide provider of eco‑friendly hoarding and screening solutions, available for hire or purchase across sectors like construction, medical, retail and airports. The Challenge

Plasloc’s quoting system had evolved organically in Microsoft Access over many years and was managed by a single staff member. It had become inflexible, unintuitive and dependent on that employee’s expertise. With the employee nearing retirement, Plasloc faced a critical knowledge risk. Extensive training was needed, and system development had stalled.

They needed a custom, scalable web app to support fast, multi‑project quoting, shift away from siloed knowledge, and modernise their user experience.

The Solution

To address immediate issues and future needs, morphsites facilitated a Technical Discovery Day. We mapped existing workflows, captured overlooked requirements, and produced a detailed Technical Specification defining discrete modules and clear business outcomes.

The resulting solution is a sleek, responsive custom web app built with mobile‑first principles. A modern UI uses drag‑and‑drop to assemble quotes from a wide product range. It supports grouping multiple projects per site—essential for Plasloc’s national clients—with editable price lists, inline VAT exemptions or discounts, and free-text notes. A custom filter system enables sorting by client, date or project value.

We also implemented one-click invoice generation—covering invoices, pro formas and credit notes—simplifying previously manual, error-prone processes. On the back end, a CMS‑style interface allows admins to manage clients, price lists and users easily, removing single‑user dependency and preparing the system for future CRM or ERP integrations.

The Results

Within days, Plasloc’s team found the new web app intuitive and fast, increasing efficiency within the business.

Drag‑and‑drop quoting replaced inefficient copy‑and‑paste. Multi‑project visibility improved collaboration, while custom filters made finding projects effortless. Client‑specific pricing and VAT tweaks became instant changes, reducing errors. The one‑click invoice system freed up significant admin time, eliminating manual PDF manipulation. Built‑in KPIs and reports now help Plasloc spot growth opportunities.

Importantly, it can also grow with them , flexibly incorporating the nuances of their niche business.

With complex relationships between different product lines and categories, we built a new system based on common database structure, allowing easy updates by anyone at Plasloc.
