In 2015, organic dairy farmers, Coombe Farm decided to hit the ground running by launching their retail business online from the start. They chose morphsites to help them conquer the market. And they’ve never looked back!

Turn a local farm shop into a leading organic online retailer inside 30 months.
The first step was vital: getting to know Coombe Farm, the team, operations, philosophy, competition, and goals for the future. Next, we got to grips with Coombe Farm’s target market, their needs and expectations.
With all this insight, we then set about designing a fully responsive e-commerce website that would really deliver: reaching Coombe Farm’s target market, promoting their new brand identity, and, of course, generating sales!
Getting to know Coombe Farm, the team, operations, ethos, and goals for the future of the business was a vital first step, alongside our research into the market and competitor activity.
We were inspired by the farm’s ethical, sustainable, and ‘quality first’ ethos in both our visual designs for the site and the bold, new product photography that we co-directed.
And, most importantly, we designed and tested every area of the site with the customer in mind, with user-friendly features to make navigation, browsing and purchase really simple and secure.
We integrated the new site with Sage 200, which made a huge difference to in-house sales order processing, accounting, and stock control.
We also developed a bespoke content management system (CMS) that was tailored to meet Coombe Farm’s unique needs, support users, and give the site the flexibility to grow with the business.
We didn't stop there! To drive customers to the new site, we created targeted paid search, remarketing, Google Shopping campaigns and Gmail adverts. And, with a little work, Coombe Farm’s Google ads were soon generating 50% of Coombe Farms total traffic.
We then used SEO techniques to optimise the site’s content to improve organic search performance, helping to enhance conversion rates even further.
